Meet The Chef

I’m Jayda, a bajan-canadian chef, creative, and owner of Soulful Sage Cuisine.

To me, food is more than flavour; it’s something greater than the sum of its parts. It bridges the gap between culture and experience.

 

From the Caribbean heat of scotch bonnet peppers to the care and community of India’s garam masalas, every dish I create carries the stories of the kitchens and families that inspire me.

I also have experience working front-of-house, meaning I understand what makes a dining experience special from various angles.
